- What is your favorite thing about raising kids in Des Moines?
- Iowans are so friendly. Granted, I've never lived outside of Iowa, but I here it from everyone who visits. The schools are wonderful, teachers become lifelong friends. We have the luxury of 4 season [even though as parents we HATE winter :) ]. There are so many opportunities for our kids, while growing up with a sense of family.
- What's is the best kept secret in Des Moines
- Local restaurants, particularly Waveland Cafe for breakfast. Delish :)
