Recess-Go Bananas

My son is off next Monday-Wednesday for Kindergarten Round-Up and I'm looking for a few things to keep us occupied. It looks like it will be too cold for the zoo and we go to the Science Center quite a bit, so I'd like to do something different. Has anyone been to Recess in Ankeny. Will it be worth my drive to go there from Grimes?

I like The Playground in Ankeny instead.

My 6 and 3 year old girls have a blast there. Don't bother with the tickets. You need way too many to get anything. Good food available also.

My 2 year old loves it! It's about the only thing that wears him out. Some of the things are a bit too big for him, but there is plenty to do regardless. I definitely recommend it.
